Here is a pretty fun way to stop smoking, and get your life back in order. You can use your family members or close friends for this game. Before you start, make sure to explain to everyone what the game is about before hand, let them know that it is an exercise that will get you one step closer to stop smoking. Try to get at least 4 friends.
If possible get two friends that are smokers and two friends that are not. Give everyone a couple sheets of white notebook paper and something to write with. Next, gather everyone around the table. Now, ask all of your friends including yourself to answer these 10 questions:
(you can also do this exercise by yourself it is just more fun with friends)
1. Can you live without smoking?
2. Calculate how much money you spend a day on cigarettes....
3. Are you aware of the consequences of smoking?
4. Name one good thing that comes from smoking......
5. Name one goal that cigarettes have helped you accomplish......
6. List the negative effects that smoking has had on your life.....
7. How many people have tried to help you quit smoking?
8. Do you tell your kids not to smoking?
9. How would you feel if your kids started to smoke?
10. What percentage of your friends smoke?
Okay, after you have answered all ten questions exchange papers with the person on the right. One by one have each person read the paper. After each question discuss the answers with the whole group. After completing all of the steps above ask yourself one more question: Is there really anything good that comes out of smoking?
